Handlettering Portfolio

There were times in my life when I was so stunned by some lettering work I stumbled upon on Instagram and Behance. That's when I started to fall in love with letters. How they are individually shaped, and how the letters come together in beautiful harmony. And there are lots of things to learn in letters and type!

And I bought some drawing-type books, one of is from Jessica Hisce, my lettering idol.

On this page, I will casually show some of my past lettering work and how that exercise and knowledge apply to my branding projects. I pay close attention to my client's logotype, and when the project fits, I hand-lettered the logo name to create a unique logo for my clients' businesses.

One of my hand-lettering piece as exercise after reading Jessica Hische book.

Another piece with watercolor. Fun fact: I have been a fan of watercoloring since college. But I stop exploring that and decide to pursue my passion in branding and digital design.

I made this when I was pregnant and bored and need creative output.

Custom Logotype

This is one of the two options I proposed for Nadra Safiri’s logo.

The chosen and refined logo

We’ve looked around for the perfect font for Michaela’s logo. Zero, none of them feels aligned. So I decided to ask Michaela to send over her name writing, and I will refine it to fit into her logo.
